Integrated Research System for Sustainability Science (IR3S)

　Waseda University is a member of IR3S, hosted by University of Tokyo. Waseda is determined to contribute to the development of sustainability science form ‘Politics and Journalism’ perspective. To make a society more sustainable, governmental policies and decision are undoubtedly important. Since such decisions are heavily dependent on the opinion of each national, the role of journalism is obviously essential, which can influence both government and citizens. Therefore, the research focus would be how to bridge such journalism and environmental sustainability.
