Global COE(Center of Excellence) Program

Matsuoka Lab is participating in a Global COE Program at GSAPS, named “Global Institute for Asian Regional Integration”. This program aims to develop professional human resources in political, economic, social and cultural fields, who will be able to make significant contribution to Asian regional integration. It pays strong attention to involve graduate students, such as education through seminars and participation of graduate students in the project.
Matsuoka is responsible for one of the component project “Environmental Governance in Asia”, and the research will be focusing on environmental management in Asia and social capacity development to achieve sustainable economy.
